The Psychedelic Furs Santa Barbara Concert reviews
Toto was Incredible! Journey was good too.
"I wasn鈥檛 sure what I would be seeing with all the changes in personnel, but I love the music. The show started oddly with DJ Jelly Bean, great but the crowd (mostly 50+) didn鈥檛 really know what to think. Then Toto came out and put on the most amazing concert. After that I was pumped for The Psychedelic Furs. Every single member of the band was killing it and they played all their hits, some even with new arrangements. The drummer was mesmerizing. Don鈥檛 get me wrong, there was nothing bad about the performance but it just felt disjointed. It was like the lead singer was in one band, jumping around and putting on a very passionate, athletic performance, while the rest of the band were just there to play their instruments. The crowd also didn鈥檛 help. The whole crowd sat down for the majority of the concert and it was like pulling teeth for the bands to get any prolonged audience participation. So like I said, I didn鈥檛 have the highest expectations and I have never been to one like it. I would highly recommend seeing Toto if you get the chance though."
